Bad service Solarvps

I had similar case with the billin team, that previous reviews on this page.
I wouldn't recommend them, stay away and go to a better provider like Spry or Liquid Web.
Solarvps don't know how to respect the client.
I'm very convinced that after my exp and the exp of the others clients saying in the reviews they aren't good.

performance problem

I got a managed plan. Everything was ok for almost 3 months. Then hard disk got very slow one night(mora than 10x). I requested support, there was a problem from their part and it was fixed. At the next week, at Thursday again, the same problem happenned, they looked at the problem and fixed it partially. The hard disk was still between 2 and 5 times slower than it was when I first started with the VPS. I requested support but I was told that everything was "under normal parameters" and it won't be fixed. They said to me just after I paid for the fourth month so I lost 44 dollars (later I lost yet another 44 aditionally because I didn't cancel apropiately but that was my fault). Well, now, I have been more than 3 months with OTHERS VPS providers, and making a comparison, solarVPS had the slowest hard disk of all. SolarVPS was my first VPS so I actually didn't know if they were right, but NOW I know that really the performance was unacceptable, and they didn't fix it and I had to go away so they actually owe me my 44 dollars.

This situation may be specific to our case but be aware of two things that may happen to you if you choose to work with SolarVPS. First, if the tech support department can’t solve your problem, they might suspend your servers and you might loose data and time. Second, you may give them money but they may not feel obligated to provide anything in return for that money.
Since I believed all of the positive reviews posted about SolarVPS, I thought anyone considering their services should know the how they operate from my brief experience as a customer. I have 5 VPS Windows servers setup in a cluster for SQL, IIS, and a couple of Application servers. There were all setup successfully setup a VPSland and I decided to move them to Solar because the plan was better, the service seemed to be better, and the speed was faster. I received access to the 5 servers a few days after setting up the account and I started configuring the servers. I utilize the MS VPN client on the VPS to connect to our Domain Controller with a windows task setup to run rasdial.exe and keep a persistent VPN connection. This setup works well on VPSLand, Netrack, and Point North Networks VPS solutions which all use Parallels Containers (the same as Solar).
For some reason, there is a bug in the SolarVPS system that causes the container to get stuck in stopping mode when VPN and windows tasks as utilized on their containers. Their tech support dept seemed to be honest and detailed about the problem and said they had to work with Parallels to solve the problem but they would have to suspend all 5 of our servers while they looked into the problem. They worked on the problem for more than 3 weeks and finally said they could not solve the problem and they would not activate our servers.
We paid for 30 days of service up front and even though the service was suspended by their tech support dept or disabled because of the bug in their software the first day we received service, they decided that they would keep all of the money meant for 30 days of service and tried to make us pay for a 10 day cancelation penalty. In this case they are the same as a fraudulent internet merchant that sells you something online and never delivers it.

Being with SolarVPS since June 2007 and have had no problems. Have had no reason to contact support, so unable to say if it's good or bad. The service has run perfect from day one, what else can one say its working just right for us.
We are satisfied with the service.
